We were a plexi-glass thickness away from this female gorilla at the zoo. She and Maya really took a good look at each other. We think she is at least 50 years old (based on the zoo signage). We had a really nice visit to the zoo, but seeing this old lady was the highlight!

I think mamma gorilla wanted to hold you and cuddle you. She really looks very interested in you. I am glad you were able to bond with mamma gorilla.
