New Update on the Sickies
Maya went to her doctor on Saturday. She still had hives, so it was determined that she actually is allergic to the oral antibiotic, Omnicef. So.... that means she is allergic to the whole class of antibiotics that Omnicef belongs to, which is limiting. We started her on a new antibiotic on Saturday, but she still has hives today. The good news is that Maya is finally eating again!!! She had lost about 1.5 pounds, so her mommy was very worried. She is also talking non-stop, which is her normal behavior, so I think she is feeling better. She still has a runny nose and is coughing, but she's doing a lot better!! :) However, her mommy and daddy are both sick, and we have lost our voices!

Take care of yourselves!!! Gabriel is about to finish his Omnicef (which is sooooooooo expensive) and his ears look just as bad according to the urgent care place today, so he is going to start Augmentin after he's done with Omnicef. At least Augmentin is cheaper.

Maya, Grandma is so glad you are doing better. Now we need to get Mommy and Daddy better. They sure didn't sound good yesterday. The problem is that Mommy & Daddy are dealing with the sick public all day long. Keep washing those hands take care of one another.
