Well, us girls were all cheering for the top ranked USA women's soccer team & here's a belated update: they lost (a devastating & controversial game; see any newsworthy source for details) to Brazil in the semi-finals, and then beat Norway 2-0 to win 3rd place. Brazil and Germany played for first, and Germany won 2-0 (it was a closer game than the score indicates)!!

USA Soccer Update
